Consulting Physicist

Since 1991 I have been doing business as David H. Strome Incorporated.  I am a seasoned product development R&D physicist and project manager.  My technical expertise is in lasers and optical engineering, and I have had broad exposure to other fields, including electrosurgery, video systems, endoscopy, materials science.  I provide technology consulting services in applied physics and optical engineering , and arrange for collaboration by associates in other fields.

A fresh pair of eyes on your problem

Deciding to engage a consultant may be straightforward if the problem is well-defined and the need is for  specific experience or expertise.  

But sometimes the situation is not so clear-cut, and attempts to apply available specific skills (whether internal or external) have not resolved the path forward.  

If that is the case for an issue you are facing, I would be interested in discussing it with you to evaluate whether I can offer something creative.   

If I can, my hope would of course be that the benefits described in a subsequent project proposal would justify further collaboration.
